Carbon Emissions and Mission in Azerbaijan

Michael Bloss, a member of the European Parliament known for his environmental activism, told Euronews on November 1 that European deputies have been advised to exercise caution during COP29, scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan. According to Bloss, prior to traveling to Baku for the summit, they will be provided with disposable phones and laptops.

In a short time, artificial intelligence (AI) has become an effective tool in working with computers. AI is now used for entertainment, gaming, drawing, animating photos, writing articles and dissertations, calculating rocket trajectories, and managing residential buildings and agricultural farms. AI is embedded in modern weaponry, controlling drone swarms and defending against incoming missiles.

The 2024 Nobel laureates in economics have been announced, and the prize was awarded to Daron Acemoglu, Simon Johnson, and James Robinson for their joint research. In my opinion, these names are symbolic.

The "National Strategy for Efficient Use of Water Resources" of Azerbaijan is a comprehensive framework aimed at addressing critical issues in the management of the country's water resources and ensuring sustainable water use amidst ongoing climatic and demographic changes. This strategy, adopted by the presidential decree on October 10, 2024, builds upon earlier decrees and plans, such as the "Additional Measures for Ensuring Efficient Use of Water Resources" from 2020. The strategy outlines a long-term vision for water resource management and is structured into three implementation phases covering the period from 2024 to 2040.
