Makarevich is shocked with decision of the authorities of Azerbaijan
The famous Russian rock musician, leader of the "Time Machine" Andrei Makarevich condemned official Baku for the cancellation of his concerts in Azerbaijan. In an interview with radio "Echo of Moscow", he stressed that it was a political decision taken by the authorities at the request of the Kremlin.
"I was greatly impressed by Baku city, because we played in Belarus, and in Riga, and in Moldavia. And everything was wonderful. It is funny , because Moscow asked Baku to prevent my concert; and Baku decided not to quarrel now with Moscow. Of course, it is other country. But it is a shame that the authorities are trying to present it as a popular solution: they say that people do not buy tickets, and do not go to concerts - it's a lie. People are forced to hand over the tickets, which had been bought. So it is also disrespectful to people," said the musician.
The concert of Makarevich in Baku was scheduled for late October. Makarevich caused indigmation of the Kremlin after he did not support annexation of the Crimea, and the aggression against Ukraine. For this he was called a traitor, and it was proposed to deprive him of all Russian titles and awards. In Russia, the regime is blocking all his concerts, and he is not let to TV channels. -02D-
