All Employees to Be Covered by Social Insurance
Deductions under compulsory social insurance will cover all employees.
The corresponding decree approving the Law on Amendments to the Law on Social Insurance, adopted by Parliament on October 17, has been signed by the head of state. According to the document, the tightening of requirements for employers is due to the fact that many of them did not include employees in the social security system. At the same time, employers relied on arguments such as overdue contract of a worker or unwillingness to enter into an employment agreement.
Under the amendments, mandatory state social insurance applies to persons working without a labor agreement (contract) or on an expired contract.
In addition, the President issued a decree that gives three months to bring the legal framework in line with the amendment. --17D-
