AZAL to resume regular flights to Astrakhan
JSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) from 22 September 2014 is to resume regular flights on the route Baku - Astrakhan - Baku.
According to the official information, the timing is shifted (before the beginning of the flight was scheduled for November 3) in view of the growing demand. Experts attributed the quickness of the airline to the fact that recently parliamentarians in the Astrakhan region approved awarding the First Lady of Azerbaijan the Order of Merit to the North Caspian region of Russia.
The flight will be operated twice a week - on Mondays and Tuesdays on aircraft type Embraer. Departure from Baku will be at 19:00, arriving in Astrakhan - at 19:20 local time. Departure from Astrakhan will be at 03:15, arrival in Baku - at 05:35 local time.
The cost of a single fare including taxes and fees is 192.85 manat, in the direction of "back and forth" - 292.64 manat. -17D-
