Customs officers supplement the budget against decline in import and export operations
Despite the decline in export-import operations by August 1 (delay by 10.53% compared to the same period last year), the State Customs Committee increases transfers to the state budget. This is due to grown tariffs. Over the past 7 months the treasury received from the customs in the form of duties and taxes 868 065 360 manat (+ 13.6% to last year's results).
According to the committee, the income in the form of value added tax amounted to 591,803,840 manat. The share of excise was 32,460,850 manat and road tax was 9,324,530 manat. Transfer of customs duties amounted to 234,476,140 manat.
The law on the state budget for 2014 revenue forecasts 1 510 million AZN coming through the State Customs Committee. -17D-
