Gilan Holding Creates Three More Agricultural Companies
Structural changes in the conglomerate of companies Gilan Holding, which is represented in almost all areas of the real economy and is not formally involved only in the energy sector, are continuing. At this time, they set up three companies in the agricultural sector.
According to the Ministry of Taxes, on 30 April the companies Gilan Dairy Farms, Gilan Pastoral and Gilan Orchards were registered. It should be noted that the holding company has several dairies, livestock and hundreds of hectares of orchards, which are separate legal entities.
The three companies are headed by a graduate of the Russian University of Cooperation, young manager Roman Trofimov, a Russian citizen, who for many years held senior positions in the agricultural enterprises of the country.
Recall that in March this year, Gilan Holding regrouped its numerous companies on a sector basis in six areas. They established the subsidiary companies Gilan Agricultural Group, Gilan Consrtuction Materials Group, Gilan FMCG Group, Gilan Logistics Group, Gilan Hospitality Group and Gilan Retail Group.
The company Gilan was founded by Kamaladdin Heydarov in 1992. After Heydar Aliyev, with whom he had friendly relations, came to power, he was appointed to a public office. For many years, he led the State Customs Committee and since the establishment of the Ministry for Emergencies he has headed it. According to official documents, on the basis of 50/50 the holding company is owned by two sons of Heydarov. According to some estimates, the total number of its commercial structures reaches 300 companies and enterprises. The general assets of the company are commensurate with those of Pasha Holding. -08B
