Nine Residents of Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park Announced
The Ministry of Economy has registered LLC Agrochemical Azerbaijan as a resident of Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park. At the moment the park has 9 residents.
LLC Agrochemical Azerbaijan received the state registration on 12 April 2016. The office of the company is located in the business center of Gilan Holding Capital Towers. The ministry did not provide information about how many hectares were given to this company for the establishment of production area or about the company's production plans.
As Turan was told in the Ministry of Economy, arrangements are continued for Mingachevir Industrial Park on 14.8 hectares. According to initial reports, it is supposed to invest 100 million USD and to open 2,000 new jobs there.
For activities in the Neftchala Industrial Park 17 projects have been presented. At the first stage the total investment for the seven ongoing projects amount to more than 20 million AZN, with 380 jobs opened.
Opportunities to establish an industrial park in Ganja are being explored.
Note that the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park operates the Balakhani Industrial Park and the Garadagh Industrial Park. - 08D--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
