Number of Documents Required for Targeted Social Assistance Minimized
Baku / 04.05.20 / Turan: In order to expand access of low-income families to the targeted state social assistance program, the procedure for applying for targeted social assistance is simplified.
To this end, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (MLSPP) has developed draft amendments to regulatory acts.
According to the project, the amount of information necessary for citizens to enter the application in the electronic system will be significantly reduced.
At the time of application, it will not be required to provide information on salaries, pensions and benefits, whether presidential pensions are granted or if you have an IDP status. There will also be no need to enter information on first and second degree disabilities, annual utility bills, unemployment status or vehicle ownership.
In addition, information such as tuition fees, status of stay abroad, the area of a private house or apartment, zip code, will not be requested from citizens.
There will also be no need to provide the telephone numbers of family members, the cost of the costs of their use, etc.
All information that is not required from citizens when applying, will be obtained from the electronic information systems of the relevant authorities, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reports.
The number of families covered by the program has increased as a result of the expansion of targeted state social assistance and the simplification of the purpose of the program for this purpose.
In April alone, the number of families receiving targeted assistance increased by 12 thousand, and as of May 1 exceeded 82 thousand. Taking into account family members, assistance extends to 342 thousand people. The average monthly volume of targeted assistance per family is 224 manats ($ 131.7). The criterion of need for the appointment of targeted social assistance is income for family members below 160 manats per month. --------08D--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today.
