Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister arrives in Israel
Baku/29.12.22/Turan: Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Fariz Rzayev arrived in Israel on an official visit. On Thursday, December 29, he will oversee the preparations for the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Tel Aviv, Israeli media reported. According to Fariz Rzayev, "with the opening of a diplomatic mission in relations between the two countries, almost limitless opportunities will open up," the website Vesty.co.il quotes the deputy minister.
The opening of the embassy will expand interaction between the two countries and open new channels for cooperation in the economy, tourism, culture, scientific research and many other areas, Rzayev said. He also said that within the framework of his visit he intends to visit his school teacher.
“The program of the visit of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan includes a meeting with the former head of the Mossad, Tamir Pardo, who enjoys great authority in Azerbaijan. In addition, Fariz Rzayev will hold meetings with representatives of the Israeli Foreign Ministry,” the same source said.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry did not announce Fariz Rzayev's visit to Israel.
*The decision to open an embassy in Israel was made by the Azerbaijani Parliament in November this year. --02D--
