They asked why we "are against the state," said Gambar. Eventually, he was told that if it continues, then the next time he will be arrested. "In fact, I was threatened with arrest," said Gambar, adding that he did not commit illegal acts. Gambar was not released from the building, where at the gate his colleagues and journalists were waiting for him, he was taken by car and landed near the "Narimanov" metro station, said a member of the board of NIDA, Ulvi Hasanli. Today, around 12 a.m., the activist of NIDA Turgut Gambar was detained near the Baku Court of Appeal by a group of people in civilian clothes who identified themselves as employees of Baku Main Police Office. They said that Turgut should go with them, because "there are a number of questions to him." The Board member of NIDA Ulvi Hasanli told Turan.
According to him, Gambar was in front of the Court of Appeal in connection with the trial of the NIDA activist Elgiz Gahramanov arrested on August 12 on charges of drug trafficking.
