Baku /25.11.20/ Turan: 3,469 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Azerbaijan last day. 1,229 people were cured, and 30 people died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Wednesday.
In total, 102,296 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, of which 66,963 people were cured, and 1,224 died. Today, the number of active patients in the country has reached 34,209.
15,057 tests were carried out in Azerbaijan last day, and in total there were 1,646,659. -0-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
