Bridge Collapsed in Ismayilli
On 11 September, a bridge over the river Mehmanhanly in Ismayilli collapsed. The bridge is located 3 km along on the route, Garamaryam-Sheki-Ismailly.
As the head of the press service of Azeryolservis, Punhan Mursaliyev, said, the collapse occurred as the result of overloaded trucks being driven over the bridge. One of these trucks was stuck on the bridge that collapsed.
The Road Technology Operations Department is dealing with the problem. As Mursaliyev noted, drivers are currently being diverted to the alternative road through the village, Yekekhana. -16D04-
