The Ministry of Communications warns citizens about fake SMS
Baku/19.10.20/Turan: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies warned the population about false SMS messages sent from foreign numbers.
The reports refer to the alleged threat of rocket fire, which makes it necessary to leave the territory.
"The purpose of these messages is to create panic and fear," the message says.
The ministry recommends citizens not to answer unfamiliar calls and messages from other countries, block the number and send a complaint to the number as if it were spam.
The Ministry recommends, if necessary, to contact the website of the Electronic Security Service at www.cert.az or send an email to reports@cert.az
The ministry also asked citizens to forward screenshots of such fake SMS and send them to the Electronic Security Service. –71D-
