Fraud case of management of construction company Azizbey KM in the capital"s Serious Crimes Court

The criminal case of fraud and official forgery from the founder of construction company Azizbey KM Fuad Mirzyaeva and director Akif Bagirov has been sent to the Court for Serious Crimes in Baku.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General of the Republic, initiated a criminal case on the basis of numerous complaints was the Office for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan. Both businessman were arrested and testified under articles 178.3.2 (fraud ) and 313 ( forgery ) of the Criminal Code . They are charged with a number of resale citizens on the basis of false contracts 18 apartments and two in non-residential areas built on the order of the building.

The proven illicit profits of members of the criminal transaction were 1,043,584 manats. Partially offset was damage to the citizens.

This is not the only message from the Prosecutor General to prosecute not major subjects of the construction business this year. Yesterday the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General filed a similar one criminal case - this time against the LLC RT under articles 308.1 ( abuse of power) and 313 (forgery ) . Amount of proven damages to citizens was 855,000 manats.

A large number of cases where developers sell apartments to several trusting people show that government agencies are deliberately allowed to drift this segment of law. In the courts in similar cases the accused owners of building structures have repeatedly stated that they are forced to engage in fraud due to the fact that they pay bribes to officials for a building permit, for the allocation of land for the permission for construction of buildings exceeding standard heights, for the act of delivery of housing in operation and other preferences . - 17D-
