Kremlin calls on Yerevan and Baku to show restraint
Kremlin urges the parties to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh to avoid steps that could upset the delicate truce and lead to an escalation of tension in the region, reporters were told by the president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the approval by the government of Armenia the opposition bill on recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh.
"We are closely watching the decisions that are taken in this context, and, of course, we continue to expect that the parties will avoid any steps that could disrupt the rather fragile truce and bring to the escalation of tensions in Nagorno-Karabakh," quoted Peskov agency TASS. He gave negative answer to the question whether Yerevan discussed with Moscow the bill on recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh. -02D-
