On Monday morning, the investigating authorities sealed the office of the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety.
The IRFS employees told Turan two prosecutors came to the office and asked to vacate the premises, and then sealed the office. They did not give any explanation or show the sanction or court decision. In fact, the IRFS workers were just thrown into the street.
Recall that on 8 August prosecutors raided the office and seized documents, computer equipment and electronic media, including personal flash cards of the employees.
Since that time the fate and whereabouts of the head of the NGO, Emin Huseynov, has remained unknown. -6D-
