At Meeting of Accounting Chamber
The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan (ACA), at a meeting on September 4 discussed a plan for verifying the level of budget funds allocated to the intended use of cultural organizations and health care, on the balance of executive power of the Shirvan city and the surrounding of Sabirabad. They will check accountability to the tax authorities of the distribution network, LLC Shirvan Regional Electric, Nizami district unit of the Baku City Telephone Network.
In addition, they plan analysis of the income and expenses in the structures of the central executive of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the state agency of alternative and renewable energy sources, and Saatly Geychay regional branch of the State Social Protection Fund and several public joint stock companies.
In addition, the House approved a program of audit performance of funds allocated from the state budget for the maintenance of the Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the United Nations, and the calculation and payment of stamp duty.
Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan, reporting to the parliament, has been in force since December 7, 2001, as the body that controls the flow of the budget of the AR.
Leading employees (members of the Board, which consists of a chairman, his deputy and seven auditors) are elected every 7 years.
Accounting from ACA is usually limited to general statements about the board meeting, without giving specific figures and data. According to Article 6.0.3 of the Law of Azerbaijan "On receiving information" (" Basic principles of information" ) , the disclosure of information on budget revenues and expenditures is the responsibility of government agencies , including the Chamber of Accounts. - 17D-
