Families of Killed Oilmen to Receive Compensation
The families of people killed and injured as a result of the fire on the platform at the field Guneshli and the incident on the platform Oil Rocks will receive compensation.
As stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Salim Muslumov, the families of oilmen, who had a salary of 600-650 manats a month, will receive compensation in the amount of 80 thousand manats.
Depending on the number of family members and the length of service, the size of compensation may be increased to 140,000 manats.
These issues are regulated by the law "On compulsory insurance against industrial accidents and occupational diseases".
Oilmen affected by the fire will be awarded degrees of disability. For example, one of the oilmen with 60% of the body burned will receive a first group disability.
In addition, the oilmen’s children under 18 years old will receive a monthly allowance of 2.5 times the salary of the deceased.
The allowance will be extended to the age of 23 if the children of the deceased enter the internal branch of a university. -06D--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
