A.Pashazadeh: You cannot prevent the deterioration of the Azerbaijani-Iranian relations
The trip to Iran was very important and useful , Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazade said Turan commenting on the results of his meeting with the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei of the country. Pashazade expressed satisfaction that the positive trend in bilateral relations continues. "However, there are forces that want to prevent the rapprochement between the two brotherly Muslim countries and peoples. For this purpose, they do not stop provocation. Therefore, both countries should prevent the implementation of such plans," said the sheikh.
Pashazade visited Tehran on November 23-24 to participate in an international conference on Islam.
He was admitted to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as by the two of the most influential ayatollahs Shirazi and Subhani.
Pashazade is the only figure from Azerbaijan, except Ilham Aliyev, who is received by Khameni.
