Baku / 13.05.20 / Turan: 104 new cases of the Corona Virus infection were recorded in Azerbaijan, while 55 people recovered and were discharged from hospitals, the Cabinet of Ministers Operational Headquarters said on Tuesday.
A patient born in 1943 who suffered from arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus died.
A total of 2,693 people have been infected with the Corona Virus. Of these, 1,735 were cured, 33 died, and 925 continue to receive treatment in hospitals of a special regime. The condition of 28 patients is grave, 42 are of moderate severity, and the rest are stable.

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
