None of Detained LGBT Representatives Remains under Arrest (UPDATED)
The Prosecutor General's Office issued an amendment to the report on raids against LGBT representatives. It notes that "at present no detainee is currently under arrest."
A source in law enforcement agencies explained that 56 people were sentenced to administrative arrest. 32 of them had infectious diseases and they were sent for treatment. The remaining 24, who were not found any disease, were released. Thus, no one remains in custody.

Ministry of Internal Affairs and Prosecutor General's Office on raids against LGBT people
Baku / 02.09.17 / Turan: The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office in a joint statement rejected statements about the persecution of sex minorities in the country.
During the investigation, based on numerous complaints from citizens, it was established that in Nasimi, Narimanov, Sabail and Yasamal districts of the capital, a group of people offered paid intimate services to local citizens and foreign tourists," insulted those who refused these services and tried to involve them in the conflict, thereby violating the public law and order," the report said.
To detect these individuals and the presence of dermatological-venereal diseases from September 15 to 30, police officers detained 83 people. With respect to these persons, protocols on articles 510 (petty hooliganism) and 535.1 (deliberate disobeying the lawful request of a police officer) of the Code of Administrative Offenses were drawn up and sent to court.
56 people were arrested administratively. 18 people have been fined, 9 - warned.
32 arrested persons were sent for examination to the venereology dispensaries and all had various venereal and infectious diseases: 6 people had AIDS, 6 had HIV, 16 had syphilis, 2 had acute urethritis, and 2 had hepatitis C virus (HCV).
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office reject allegations that sexual minorities were intentionally targeted during the raids.
"The purpose of such events is to establish and bring to justice those who violate the public order and prevent the spread of infectious venereal diseases that can lead to serious consequences," the information says. -06D--
