Kharkov city centre again hit by shelling
Baku/02.03.22/Turan: On the morning of Wednesday, March 2, the central part of Kharkov once again came under fire.
As evidenced by the video of eyewitnesses, an explosion took place in the centre of Kharkov - 1.5 km from Svobody Maidan which had been shelled the day before, unian.net reported.
As a result of the shelling, the building of the Karazin University on Myronositskaya str., located next to the SBU building, caught fire. Also, a part of the neighbouring building where the National Police Headquarters is located, is on fire.
According to the State Emergencies Service (SES), the fire has also spread to residential buildings and there is a threat that the fire will spread.
"Rescuers are working at the scene. The number of casualties and destruction is being clarified. Information is being updated," the State Emergency Service said. -06В-
