The U.S. Embassy celebrates the opening of the Sheki American Corner
Baku/15.03.22/Turan: On March 15, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan opened the American Center in the city of Sheki, which is located in a branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU).
The US Ambassador Lee Litzenberger, who was present at the ceremony, spoke about the significance of the "American Center" for the local population in terms of educational and cultural opportunities.
The American Center is equipped with new equipment and technologies. English language training and other educational programs will be conducted here. During his visit to Sheki, Ambassador Litzenberger also met with alumni of US Government-funded exchange programs.
American Centers allow to improve your English, learn more about the United States, study opportunities there and participate in exchange programs, and take part in high-tech projects in the Maker Space (Creative Space), the US Embassy said.—03D06-
