The Cabinet of Ministers on July 18 adopted a resolution on amendments to the structure of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS). The document was adopted taking into account the proposals emanating from ANAS.
Two institutions have been combined (the Institute of Erosion and Irrigation, and the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry) in one institute called the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry.
The Institute of Philosophy and Law has been named Institute of Philosophy.
Subdivisions of legal sciences and their staff positions have been transferred to the Institute of Law and Human Rights. Prior to this, the Institute of Law and Human Rights was called the Institute of Human Rights.
Recall that the new structure of ANAS was approved on November 17, 2015. At present, the structure of ANAS includes 45 organizations, including 37 institutions in different directions, the regional units in Nakhchivan and Ganja, as well as 5 self-supporting organizations. -08D-
