Arif Hajili was summoned to the MDCOC because of the REAL congress
Baku/15.12.17/Turan: The head of the "Musavat" party Arif Hajili was summoned to the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime (MDCOC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He was told that the challenge is connected with the possibility of provocations during the events held at the headquarters of the Musavat Party and, in order to avoid this, the police decided to prevent the party's leadership in preventive purposes, Hajili Turan himself said.
He believes that the actions of the police are actually caused by the decision to hold the founding congress of the REAL party at the headquarters of the Musavat Party on December 17.
At the same time, he recalled that the day before the representative of the State Property Committee presented a letter to the party leadership warning about the inadmissibility of submitting the premises for sublease.
Hajili believes that a warning is not a prosperous one, because the party does not derive any financial benefit from the events held. On the other hand, already two parties held congresses in the headquarters of "Musavat". Hajili regarded the actions of the authorities as pressure on political parties, in particular Musavat and REAL.
The current situation was discussed today at a meeting of representatives of "Musavat" and REAL. "Musavat" said that the decision to provide premises for the congress of REAL remains in force. However, the parties discussed the possibility of postponing the date of the congress to clarify the legal aspect of the issue. -06B--
