Moscow denies deployment of S-400 in Armenia
Yerevan/19.10.12/Turan-ArmInfo: The information on placing air defense S-400 in the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation is true, however, exactly where they will be located is a military secret, said Kirill Kiselev, the press officer of the Southern Military District of Russia in Armenia, commenting on the information in the Turkish media that the Russian S-400 may be located in Armenia at the border with Turkey.
"Placement of the S-400 in the Southern Military District does not have any relation to Armenia," said Kiselev. Earlier, Turkish media published information that Russia began to place the S-400 on the southern borders in response to the deployment of NATO missile defense in Turkey.
Earlier, the press service of the Southern Military District reported that the S-400 will be deployed by the end of 2012. According to the Turkish media, Russia does not have a land border with Turkey, and it is possible that the C-400 will be deployed on the territory of Armenia, where the 102nd Russian military base has been stationed. -02D-
