POW Firuz Faradzhev Sent to Another Country
Kept in captivity since August 26, 2012, the Azerbaijani soldier Firuz Faradzhev was sent to another country on Aug. 30, reported the Baku office of the International Red Cross.
According to the same source, the head of the ICRC office in Yerevan Lorenzo Carafi said that at the last 9th meeting with the prisoner of war he was given a letter from home. With it came the question of the return or repatriation to a third country. The POW chose the second option.
Firuz Faradzhev, born in 1992, was captured on the front line in Tovuz.
In turn, the Armenian sources confirmed that Faradzhev was sent to a third country, based on the wish of the prisoner of war.
It is noteworthy that the Armenian side claimed before that Faradzhev wanted to return home, and the Armenian side would certainly release him. These statements were made after the Armenian soldier Hagop Indzhigulyan was captured in Azerbaijan. -16D-
