Registered Short-term Notes of Central Bank at 50 Million AZN
The Financial Markets Supervision House registered 500 thousand short-term notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan with a par value of 100 manat each.
The House said the notes under the serial number 50100753S will be in circulation for 28 days.
Recall that a week ago the House registered two emissions of 1 million short-term notes of the Central Bank at par value of 100 manat each.
Note that notes are issued as part of anti-inflation measures. In addition, for the sterilization of money, since June 2016, CBA has been conducting weekly deposit auctions. ----71D
