The decision of the court was appealed. Today in the Baku Court of Appeal, lawyer Javad Javadov drew attention to the fact that A. Sadigov was detained on July 6 at noon in Jalilabad, and on the same day was delivered to Baku, to the main department for combating the organized crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Only on July 7 it was issued that on that day in the morning he swore in the street. Javadov petitioned to invite the mother and spouse of the journalist to the court as witnesses, to request information about the disposition of his mobile phone number.
In addition, the defense petitioned to request recording from CCTV cameras from the place where Sadigov was allegedly detained. However, the court rejected all applications. The journalist himself denied the statements of the police, saying that he had been subjected to physical pressure, torture, and was forced to sign confessions. The journalist said that he did not commit any offenses and was detained when he was at his mother's house in Jalilabad. -03B-
