Citizen Tried to Export 19.5 Thousand Dollars to China
Baku / 22.11.19 / Turan: Customs officers on air transport stopped an attempt to export a large amount of foreign currency from Azerbaijan.
A passenger of the Baku-Urumqi flight, a citizen of Azerbaijan, did not declare his currency in full. During the survey, he admitted that he had 8 thousand dollars. A personal search in the pockets of his trousers and jacket revealed a total of 19.5 thousand dollars.
According to the law, duty-free export of cash currency per person is allowed in the amount of 10 thousand dollars. -16D-
