No Penalty for Distributing DVR Records to Cars - Expert
Baku / 04.02.19 / Turan: Keeping a record of a driver"s stop by a police officer through a DVR or mobile phone is completely legal and there is no penalty for this. This opinion was expressed by an expert in the field of transport Arshad Huseynov.
According to him, there is nothing illegal in the distribution of these videos in the media and social networks on the Internet.
He noted that those who violated traffic rules or did criminal actions should be held accountable for specific unlawful acts.
There is no violation of the law in keeping records showing that a police officer approaches the driver and talks to him, the expert said.
A few days ago, reports were circulated with reference to officials in the traffic police that responsibility for the distribution of the records of employees of this service taken by the DVR or mobile phone is provided for in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses.
The said source stated that drivers must unconditionally comply with the requirement "Stop!", since the police are not only engaged in controlling traffic, but also participate in the fight against crime. -06D--
