In Lerica and Shabran there is a fight against fires
Baku / 25.03.18 / Turan: On March 24 fires began in the forest zone of Lerik region (305 km south of Baku) and on the municipal lands of Shabran region (120 km north of Baku).
According to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, in Lerik, a fire occurred in a mountainous area in the territory of a reforestation and restoration enterprise. Extinguishing the fire is difficult due to the high relief and strong wind. Measures to extinguish it continue.
A similar situation is in the Shabran district, where a fire is fought in a high-mountainous forest belt on the municipal lands of the village of Chukhurzami.
The Ministry reports that rapid measures are being taken to prevent the spread of fire. -0--
